Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer who thrives on designing, integrating, and bringing humanoid robotic components to life. Your role will involve hands-on collaboration from the drawing board to the workshop, working closely with our manufacturing team to design, fabricate, assemble, and test cutting-edge robotic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate mechanical components for humanoid robotics

  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to produce cohesive and robust humanoid robot designs

  • Participate directly in the fabrication, assembly, and testing phases of robotic systems

  • Organize and maintain clear, detailed CAD models and documentation

  • Perform and interpret FEA analysis for structural integrity and reliability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience (recent graduates demonstrating exceptional knowledge, passion, and a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply)

  • Proficiency in Fusion 360 or Inventor

  • Experience designing gear and motor systems

  • Ability to integrate electrical systems into mechanical assemblies

  • Exposure to manufacturing processes including CNC machining and 3D printing

Preferred Experience

(Not Required but Highly Valued):

  • Hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machines

  • Previous work in robotic systems

  • Detailed knowledge of harmonic, planetary, and cycloidal gear systems

  • Familiarity with IP ratings, shock/vibration testing, and environmental sealing

  • Practical experience with design validation testing and mechanical failure analysis

A strong portfolio demonstrating significant contributions to previous mechanical or robotic projects is essential.
